Week 2 - A Quiet Week

Week 2 of Development

For our second week of development, our focus has been on implementing the basic movement of the emeny, spawning of enermy, first level improvments, and enemy models. 

Our progress so far

1. Level Design

From the floor map and layout implementation, we have added some elemets and change some lightings to make it look like how we want it, making it look and feel more like a museum. 

The level addded some paintings to the wall, set different lightings to match wherer we want them to and added some materials to the stands. The painting and it's frame used an asset from the asset store https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/props/interior/paintings-free-44185 by Webcadabra (Painting).  However, other images can also be used providing a varity of paintings. 


We have also added some wall thickness between rooms as this provided a better and a more realistic look to the building. 

2. Models

For the model, we have created a basic human model which we will use for the enemy, this will provide us with a basic model for the emeny and add in textures and different materials for different enemy types. 

What's Next?

By this time next week, we aim to ahve implemted 

  • Level Designed
    • One completed level with complete lighting, atrifacts, diamond, enemy
    • One prototype level layout

    • Moving model
  • Models
    • Weapons such as pressure gun
